ICLTE 2023 Proceedings Published
After a rigorous double blind peer review, the Book of the Conference Proceedings of ICLTE 2023 was published.
The Proceedings represent the work of the contributors to ICLTE 2023, IV International Conference on Language Studies, Translation and Education which was held in a blended mode on 07 – 09, December, 2023, with the main centre in Bursa, Turkey.
The conference was chaired by Prof. Dr. Iryna Sekret, IATELS Committee Chair and Chair of the Board of STARTINFORUM, the organisation which sponsors IATELS and all its activities.
The conference framework and concept was developed by the Committee Board of IATELS, and organising committee of ICLTE.
ICLTE 2024 was opened by the Conference Chair Prof. Dr. Iryna Sekret, introducing the innovative concept of the conference in 2023, the conference history and perspective plans of IATELS as a coordinating organisation of ICLTE.
The opening speech was followed by the greetings and presentations by the representatives of the partner organisations, namely, Dean, Prof. (Dr.) Anuradha Parasar (Galgotias University, India) and Mr. Utku Perincek (Akademik Koleji, Bursa, Turkey).
The keynotes by Prof. Piet Kommers (Netherlands) and Dr. Patrick Camilleri (Malta) were highlighting the most urgent trends in education and research caused by the rapid development of AI technologies and their implementation in teaching and learning processes.
The speakers stressed the necessity to reconsider traditional concepts of education in a view of drastic transformations in learning due to the technological developments and societal changes.
More than one hundred participants from fifteen countries joined ICLTE 2023 and created a vigorous academic environment by sharing their ideas and experiences in AI in education, STEAM, language learning, training pre-service language teachers, analysing practices of implementing new technologies in education and language teaching.
Apart from the mainstream topics, the speakers presented their studies in discourse analysis, translation, communication and literature.
The Book of the Conference Proceedings includes selected full papers which were accepted for publishing after a rigorous double blind peer review.
We hope this book will become a valuable addition to the development of the international paradigm of knowledge on education and language studies by highlighting innovative practices and tendencies of the present.
The book embraces selected papers based on the studies presented at the conference ICLTE 2023 by the authors from India, Albania, Morocco, Turkey, Pakistan, UK and other countries.
