A Meeting Point To Learn and Explore
Since its establishment, IATELS has been working on bringing people and communities from different cultures and countries to meet, learn more about each other and explore opportunities for collaboration and joint projects.
One of such meetings was held in Galgotias University (Greater Noida, India) with the participation of Prof. Dr. Iryna Sekret, IATELS Committee Chair and Board Chair of STARTINFORUM (Turkiye).
She was kindly invited by Prof. Dr. Anuradha Parasar, Dean of School of Liberal Education, to speak about Turkiye, its culture, economical and industrial developments, potential for international trade and business development concerning the contexts of India and Turkiye.
Prof. Dr. Preeti Bajaj, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor and Ms. Aradhana Galgotia, Director Operations, marked their presence in the program sharing their visions on collaborative perspectives and possible developments between Galgotias University, IATELS and STARTINFORUM as a sponsoring organisation of the Association.
In her opening speech, Prof. Dr. Anuradha Parasar stressed that nowadays the only way to grow and flourish professionally is to have more opportunities for interactions with different cultures and societies. It was mentioned that developing constructive relations and partnerships broadens professional perspectives and contributes towards developing holistic individuals of tomorrow.

Prof. Dr. Iryna Sekret, IATELS, Committee Chair, was introduced to the audience with the reference to her vast experience in educational and research projects implemented in Europe and beyond, being highly skilled in teaching in multicultural environments and training students of different ages and educational backgrounds.
The main focus of the program was the heterogenous culture of Turkiye as a country which hosts a unique blend of traditional and modern conventions as well as religious and secular practices.
The opportunities that Turkiye offers to international students were highlighted by Prof. Sekret in terms of research projects, various professional and academic opportunities including cultural exchange programs, business development and collaborative frameworks in different spheres of production and industry.
She shed light upon the importance of Psychology in every profession of modern world and a rising need for psychological knowledge in business development, entrepreneurship, international relations and collaboration, at different levels of the managerial practices and leadership.
The students from liberal education, management studies, science, maths and other departments of Galgotias University participated in the event offline and online.
There were more than 100 participants in this interactive session where the questions on higher education, business, economies, social life and cultures were discussed in a friendly atmosphere.
The program was highly appreciated by the students evaluating it as thought-provoking and resourceful in terms of new knowledge and ideas for further education, career development and professional growth.
It is also a pleasure to note that this meeting was one of a number of programs and events which have been held in the context of collaboration of IATELS and Galgotias University.
Taking into consideration an active participation of the academicians and students of the university in IATELS conferences and training programs, IATELS Committee works to support the initiatives of the university’s administration and leadership for more profound collaborative ties and frameworks.
Cultural exchange, sharing ideas and experiences in cooperation with other cultures, countries, institutions and organisations is a way for more achievements and better results which are prerequisites for professional growth and development.
With more collaborative plans ahead, we are looking forward to more events and programs with IATELS partners and participants.
