Galgotias University: Meeting for Development & Growth

Since its inception, the International Association of Technologies, Education, and Language Studies (IATELS) has been dedicated to a singular mission: uniting global communities to foster mutual learning and cross-border collaboration.

In a vibrant continuation of this mission, a high-level interactive session was hosted at Galgotias University (Greater Noida, India). The event featured Prof. Dr. Iryna Sekret, IATELS Committee Chair and Board Chair of STARTINFORUM (Türkiye), who was invited to share her expertise on the evolving synergies between the Indian and Turkish landscapes.

A Vision for Global Connectivity

The program was inaugurated by Prof. Dr. Anuradha Parasar, Dean of the School of Liberal Education, who emphasized that professional flourishing in the modern era is inseparable from cultural exchange. She noted that developing holistic individuals for tomorrow requires a curriculum enriched by international partnerships and diverse societal interactions.

The event was further honored by the presence of Prof. Dr. Preeti Bajaj, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, and Ms. Aradhana Galgotia, Director of Operations. Together, they shared a strategic vision for deepening the ties between Galgotias University, IATELS, and STARTINFORUM, envisioning a future of shared research and academic innovation.

Exploring the Turkish Landscape

Prof. Dr. Iryna Sekret, a renowned expert in multicultural education and international research, provided the audience with an immersive look into Türkiye’s unique position on the world stage. Key highlights of her presentation included:

  • The Cultural Mosaic: An exploration of Türkiye’s heterogeneous culture, where traditional heritage meets modern convention, and secular practices coexist with deeply rooted religious traditions.

  • Economic and Industrial Synergy: An analysis of Türkiye’s industrial growth and the vast potential for international trade and business development between India and Türkiye.

  • The Psychological Edge: Prof. Sekret shed light on the critical role of Psychology in modern entrepreneurship, international relations, and leadership, arguing that psychological literacy is now a prerequisite for effective global management.

Empowering the Next Generation

The session saw active participation from over 100 students—both in-person and online—representing departments as diverse as Liberal Education, Management, Science, and Mathematics. The atmosphere was one of curious inquiry, with students engaging in thought-provoking discussions regarding:

  • Higher education opportunities and research projects in Türkiye.

  • Professional academic exchanges and cultural frameworks.

  • Career development pathways in international production and industry.

Looking Ahead: A Sustained Partnership

This meeting marks yet another milestone in the enduring collaboration between IATELS and Galgotias University. With university faculty and students already being mainstay participants in IATELS conferences and training programs, the IATELS Committee remains committed to supporting the university's leadership in creating even more profound collaborative frameworks.

As we move forward, the success of this event serves as a reminder that the exchange of ideas across borders is the most effective catalyst for professional growth and global achievement. We look forward to many more programs that turn international potential into tangible reality.
